This is a post about why I love this verse of the song A Simple Desultory Philippic:
The Doctor doesn't do a very good job of getting to the time and place he wants to be…
I absolutely adore her outfit in this! Pink is my favorite color (understatement):

There is a girl in the fire, who turns out to be the king of France’s mistress (Madame du Pompadour), and the Doctor snogs her and cracks the hell up. Wow! What!?
And now, inexplicably, a horse.
“You’re not keeping the horse.”
“I’m letting you keep Mickey!”
The Doctor has a point!
“Always take a banana to a party,” I’m learning so much from this episode…
I wrote this commentary as I watched, a bit how Joey writes his book commentaries. Before I started this episode, I remarked to him that Tooth and Claw are the names of the dogs in the Last Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney. So, I guessed there would be a dog involved. Here we go:
First of all, who is being devoured by what and why?
So is this Doctor rude, then?
Before I leave you with my commentary, I had to post this picture I found while searching for an appropriate image for this episode. This has nothing to do with anything, other than the fact that I mentioned the other day that I wished Mulder and Scully would meet the Doctor somehow.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled commentary.
AHHH GILES IS KILLING SOME RANDOM GIRL WTF!?
