A Qucik Guide to Our Writing

Welcome to the insane and often goofy realm that is Rhiannon and Joey’s minds combined.  On this page you'll find lists of our collected writings, which are primarily fantasy, but that doesn't stop us from venturing elsewhere.  Glitter and Grease (our daily web serial) is SciFi, for instance.

This landing page is a quick tour of our site: what kind of writing you can find here, when we post it, and how you can be sure never to miss a story!

S.W.A.A.T.

A Series of Wicked Awesome Adventures in Taftka (S.W.A.A.T.) is the title to our forthcoming novels. The story is a socio-political satire which parodies the traditional high fantasy genre through interlacing plot, varying narrative perspective, and organic character development. That makes it sound stuffy doesn’t it? Fear not—we promise fun! Check out the synopsis below:

Set in historic Lowell, Massachusetts, three life long friends are about to embark on their first year in high school. As if this wasn’t enough for the teens, they have a mystery to solve. A good man has gone missing and another, more fiendish man has resurfaced after an absence of years.

A ten-year-old-girl, with a vivacious imagination, claims to have the answers as to the whereabouts of the missing man. She tells a story involving parallel universes, pirates, and dragons, but the girl’s story is dismissed as a game and lost in the hormonally turbulent teenage world. Little do they know, the game is ready to burst into their reality with a vengeance.
