“Woohoo!” Henri had his head stuck out of the window of the Flying Car like an excited puppy with floppy ears. Gilda bit her lip in excited determination. They were speeding away from Titan, and halfway to the outer rings.

“If you fall out, I’m going to laugh my ass off,” Gilda sounded half amused. Her curls waving in the breeze. “I’ve gotta hand it to Dad, these wind simulators are phenomenal.”

“It was his little details that piqued my interest in him,” Henri slid back into his seat. “The same year he installed the luxury wind feature, he decided on a name.”

“The car has a name?”

“It’s really an ode to you and your mother.”

“Just tell me what is it,” the little humor that was in her voice was now gone.

“Vroomhilda,” Henri managed to say with a straight face.

Gilda blinked. “Wrench was right, my father was Heap Chief Crazy.”

“Crazy and genius are often mistaken for each other,” said a voice that was neither Gilda’s nor Henri’s.

They looked at each other, then both turned to look in the back seat. Nothing there but Titan and Saturn getting smaller behind them.

“It’s me, the car.”
